Fifty People, One Question is one of the internet’s first viral web series. First produced in 2008 in New Orleans, the series has since produced 6 official and hundreds of community episodes in every major city in the world.

The series has been featured in nearly every major publication, blog, garnered awards, and has launched the careers of filmmakers from Australia to Ireland.

Beautifully simple premise, even more beautifully executed, peeling away at the most authentic of human sentiments about life.

Ever since spinning G-Eazy’s Endless Summer mixtape from Loyola University, Deltree was a fan.

Deltree paired with G-Eazy’s management The Revel’s Group & directors Tyler Yee, Bobby Bruderle and Daryn Deluco to invest into the emerging artist.

From that initial investment Deltree went on to produce 10 music videos for G-Eazy as well as 2 album covers for his major RCA Record releases and myriads of lyric videos and supporting material.

10 music videos. 2 album covers. Billions of views.

Liveset

In 2009 we were approached by Launch Pad Ignition Incubator co-alumni to develop “the HBO for concert live streaming”.

The productions were an early innovation of large-sensor cinematic live streamed concerts.

With over 40 concerts produced and over 500K raised, we were asked to become equity partners. In 2012 the project ran out of funding/runway and was sun-setted.

Dear Boston, a letter from the survivors

A year after the world was shook by the bombings at the Boston Marathon in 2014, we partnered with Dear World , bringing dozens of survivors back to the finish line and documenting the journey.

For many survivors, this was their first time back to the site of the bombing, and the process of the photography and video was a re-claiming of the memory & space.

The digital + photo + video campaign was well received around the world, garnering international press attention and debuting on the Today show.

Syrian Refugee Crisis | CARE

When Deltree partnered with CARE and Robert Fogarty of Dear World in 2013 to talk to Syrian refugees in Jordan about their biggest hopes, fears and dreams for the future we had no idea that today, four years later, the crisis in Syria would continue to displace thousands of people.

The project sought to breakthrough the soundbites and headlines to truly make space for the voices of the Syrian refugees to be heard.

Outside tents and community centers we distributed markers and asked people to share a message to someone or something they cared about. Refugees scribbled across their arms, hands and faces. Often, they wrote things similar to what we all might write no matter our circumstances. They wrote about hope, fear and love. Photographs have a unique emotional potential to forge connections. What our portraits show is our common humanity, a crucial bridge into a better understanding of the conflict. The messages of Syrian refugees should be heard by those in positions of power.

In 2016, the United Nations (UN) identified 13.5 million Syrians requiring humanitarian assistance, of which more than 6 million are internally displaced within Syria, and over 4.8 million are refugees outside of Syria. In January 2017, UNHCR counted 4,863,684 registered refugees.
